This is a true story. My friend was driving home from work listening to his favorite radio show, Hamish and Andy on b105. H&A said "pat your head if you are single and looking, then look for other drivers doing the same!"
So my friend patted his head as he drove along. Suddenly he spied, going in the other direction, a cute girl patting her head. As she drove past she gave him a big smile and a wink. So my friend spun his head around to try to catch her number plate (not sure how much good that would have done) so that he could find her again. Where the head goes, the car goes. His car drifted accross to the other side of the road and sideswipped an old granny.
So that's the story of how a hot girl made my friend crash. Needless to say, he had to claim on his car insurance to cover the damage caused to his and the granny's vehicles - and he has never been able to find that girl, even though he claims he's in love with her.

What Makes Car Insurance Cheap?
Many people wonder what it takes to get cheap car insurance. There are a number of factors. These are determined by when you get your quote and the car insurance company asks a bunch of questions.
If you drive the car as part of your business everyday, your premium will be more expensive, as you are on the road more often, hence more likely to be involved in an accident. If you only drive your car a rarely, or just to commute to and from work, your will be offered a much cheaper quote as driving less frequently means you have less chance of a motor accident.
If you are an experienced driver with few to zero claims in the past it is certain that your car insurance will be much cheaper than if you were an inexperienced driver and/or have made many claims in the past.
Of course there are many other factors. Another one is whether your car is parked in a garage, driveway or on the street at night. On the street has the most chance for vandalism, theft or damage, whilst on a driveway has medium risks, and in a lockable garage the risks are greatly reduced. Therefore, parking your car in a garage will give you a much greater chance of obtaining cheap car insurance, compared to parking on the street or on a driveway.
It is very important that you answer the questions when filling out a quote form honestly and correctly, even if you know you are a greater risk so your insurance will be higher. If you make a claim, and the insurance assessors have found that you lied or provided false information when you were insured, the don't have to pay up a cent. So it is better to tell the truth and pay a bit more, than lie in an attempt to get cheaper car insurance.

Where are the Cheap Car Insurance Quotes - First Post!
It's great to finally get this blog underway. This blog will discuss and muse over the promises of cheap car insurance; and more specifically ask the question (and sometimes provide an answer) - where are all the cheap car insurance quotes?
Cheap car insurance is sought after by everyone who drives a motor vehicle. In every (western) country, the law requires you to have at the very least Third Party Insurance, to be able to pay for damage to other cars when you are at fault. And generally it is a good idea (and most people do it) to get fully comprehensive car insurance.
